Dow Doing Commercial

Sebring native Creagen Dow, 12, just finished filming a national Frito Lay commercial at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Creagen has a principle role advertising a new kids snack called Munchies for Kids.  The director, Chris Koch, was flown in from LOS Angeles and is well-known for such pro­ductions as the TV shows Scrubs and Malcolm in the Middle, and the movies Snow Day and A Guy Thing.

Katy Dow, Creagen’s moth­er, said he will be the dark-haired boy (no more blonde highlights) in the middle of the couch wearing the green T-shirt with the number “56” on it. The commercial will start airing nationally on all major channels around March 2004, and of the six kids in the commercial, Creagen is the only one from Orlando.

The Dows. moved to Celebration from Sebring two years ago. In Sebring, his friends knew him as the lead in Highlands Little Theatre’s production of Rumpelstiltskin.
